Madison Nichols earned her B.S. in medical laboratory science from Grand Valley State University and is certified by the American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP) Board of Certification as a medical laboratory scientist. She has experience with clinical laboratory science in the areas of chemistry, hematology, urinalysis, blood banking, microbiology, and molecular diagnostics. She actively serves on the ASCLS-MI board as the diversity advocacy council chair. Prior to joining the flow core, she worked as a medical laboratory scientist in a generalist role at Holland Hospital. Maddie joined Van Andel Institute in May 2020.
